Global Marketing Manager OTC (m/w/d)

At schülke, we are pioneers in infection prevention and hygiene. With over 130 years of history and innovation in antimicrobial solutions, we empower healthcare professionals and consumers to protect what matters most: health, trust, and life. This is a newly created role, and we are seeking a purpose-driven Global Marketing Manager to shape and elevate our consumer healthcare strategy on a global scale.

As Global Marketing Manager OTC (m/w/d) you will lead the global marketing strategy, innovation roadmap, and commercial growth plans for our wound care brands sold in retail and pharmacy channels. You will own the end-to-end brand building process, working across cross-functional teams to translate consumer and healthcare professional insights into impactful marketing strategies and product innovations.

This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and cross-market execution. You will act as the global category lead, partnering with local markets, sales, R&D, medical affairs, and regulatory teams to deliver growth in a regulated yet competitive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Global Strategy & Brand Building

  • Define and execute global brand strategy for OTC wound care brands, ensuring consistency in positioning, messaging, and value proposition across all markets
  • Develop annual marketing plans, including business objectives, marketing mix, competitive analysis, and performance KPI
  • Shape the long-term brand architecture and visual identity in collaboration with global design and communications

Innovation & Portfolio Management

  • Identify global white-space opportunities and co-develop pipeline innovations in line with consumer and HCP trends
  • Lead innovation launches globally from concept to commercialization, including claims, packaging, and value proposition development
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including SKU rationalization, pricing strategy, and cost optimization

 Consumer & Market Insights

  • Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research to support strategy development and performance optimization
  • Translate insights into actionable growth levers for brand, product, and communication development

Cross-Functional & Market Collaboration

  • Serve as the single point of contact for Wound Management OTC globally, ensuring alignment with regional and local marketing teams
  • Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Medical, Supply Chain, and Sales to support market access, compliance, and execution excellence
  • Foster strong working relationships with key markets to adapt global strategies locally and ensure successful implementation

Budget & Compliance

  • Manage global brand marketing budget, track spending, and measure ROI
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with global and regional regulatory standards and internal governance

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in global or regional consumer marketing, ideally within OTC healthcare or FMCG
  • Proven experience in launching and managing brands in regulated markets (e.g., medical devices, OTC, or pharma)
  • Track record of developing and implementing global strategies and innovations that delivered business growth
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a start-up mentality — hands-on, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Commercially and analytically savvy, with data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrix environment
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, Polish) are a plus

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to lead a global brand in an impactful health category
  • Cross-functional, cross-regional collaboration in a dynamic global team
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Flexibility and hybrid working possibilities
